Add shocks to a torsion axle?

Hi folks. I have acquired a 2004 1500 Intruder with a trike kit. Not sure whose kit it is, but it uses torsion axle hubs. Not happy with space launch ride over bumps. Fine on highway. Is it possible to add shocks to the rear (training) wheels?
