So I was getting the trike out of the garage to go to HD and buy my son some swag for fathers day. My wife had pulled down some paint cans and they were in the way, so I was replacing them back on the shelf when a can of Kills fell and punctured. It started to spray all over the garage floor, the trike and of course me!

After the shock of seeing the paint fly everywhere, I was able to contain the direction of the spray to the garage floor. My wonderful crafty wife ( as in likes to craft ) knew that alcohol would clean the shellac based paint right up. When the alcohol was wiping the carnage off the trike I started to breath easier and cancelled the ambulance due to my chest pains. Luckily it was mostly spots here and there and over spray dust.

I finally got the garage, the bike and me cleaned up and went to the dealer and bought HD floor mats for my sons truck.

All in all a good day! :AllGood:

All well that ends well......:clapping:.....

I learned my lesson with rattle can spray paint....Always put the cap back on, Murphy's Law says that when you drop the can sometimes the nozzle will brake off and make wall art...:(..

Wife

Speaking on that I was gone w my son running errands and my new wife decided to do some painting. She got the gallon can of kilz in garage, where at the time my heritage was parked. She went to shake can and low and behold she forgot to hammer down lid in previous use. Paint poured all over her as she dodged bike and prayed bike was ok but she ruined a big Harley puzzle ( the big white hertage) me and my kids put together when the were smaller. Then she had to strip in garage and walk to shower with ziploc bags on her feet as she prayed we wouldn't come home as she walks through house but naked with paint all over and bags on her feet. Well she doesnt forget you hammer down paint lids anymore

Its a learning experience sorta like if you ever sat on a hot stove,:shok:.. You'll never sit on another stove hot or cold unless you check it first...:D...

When you're in the garage and you have anything that could possibly spill remember where you are and what's close. Don't screw up anything I repeat anything. That's the moto around my man cave!LOL FRED
