How do you add a 12 volt outlet to the left fairing pocket? Is there a video out there showing the procedure?

buy the outlet at any auto store make sure you buy the complete outlet,dill a 1 inch hole in the back of the pocket hook the red wire to hot and black to ground,that it.

I don't know what type of bike you have so this may not apply.
Before drilling make sure there is room behind the pocket to accept the outlet.I miscalculated and had to make a plastic "washer" to cover my mistake.
Also if hooking directly to battery make sure you install an inline fuse.

What year is your GL1800?? Proceedure changed in 2006.... There are several little tricks either way. Not hard - just need to pay attention...
