What's an ABT? It's a hollowed out Jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese and breakfast sausage links, wrapped in bacon and slow smoked. Also know as "Atomic Buffalo Turds."

I cut the Jalapenos in half lengthwise, so that they resemble two canoes. I remove the seeds and membrane and rinse in cool water. These really are blank canvases that you can make anyway you want. The most basic is stuffed with cream cheese and a breakfast link, then wrapped in bacon. Until you get good at wrapping them, use toothpicks to hold the bacon in place. I don't use bacon much anymore, and sometimes make them stuffed with chilli and onions, and later when they're almost done top them with some grated cheese. Make sure the breakfast link is all the way cooked before you eat them.

Goes great with beer.

ABT's near the rear. That thing in front that looks like a meatloaf is a "Fatty" and no, when Barbequed, Fatties aren't chromed.

A fatty is a couple of 1 lb chubs of breakfast sausage flattened out into a big rectangle. You lay whatever you want in it. Like pizza fixings for example. Then you roll it up, and wrap it in bacon, then slow smoke it. Actually, they're pretty good even without being wrapped, but them's fightin words to BBQ'ers in the deep south.

My unscientific observation is that the smaller the Jalapeno, the hotter it will be.

And DON'T rub your eyes while you're working with the Jalapenos. OUCH!
