ABS on HD trike?

I have a question for those of you who have done a conversion on an HD with ABS. Does your ABS light on the dash stay on when the ABS is disconnected? If it does what do you do to get rid of it? Do you get a check engine light?<br />

</div>On my 07 police bike when I removed all the ABS parts the light did NOT come on.

I triked mine, the ABS light stays on. Just something you learn to live with I guess.

Nuts! I wonder if there is any way to remove or dissable the light?

There's a way to do it because when my '08 was converted my builder/dealer did it. Don't know how but I have no light.

you have to completely remove (disconnect) the wiring for the ABS system and the light no longer goes on. At least it doesn't on my 07 ABS Police bike. I completely removed the system including the brake lines.

My dealer placed a spacer on the front wheel containing a counter on the opposite side of the original front wheel counter. All lights work as normal but only front wheel has ABS.
