Are the stock coil over shocks on my Adventuer kit adjustable??
If so, can someone tell me how to do it please.
Or for that matter what to look at.

Its very difficult for me with it being so low to the ground.
I have to use a car jack under the trailer hitch, then my pump jack to get it high enough for jack stands.
That's with the front end just sitting on the ground,
Those Aqua boards while nice sure get in the way of using my bike lifts.
Ive found no way for me to get it up in the air securely and safely to do work on it.

Id really for once get to see what the bottom of my trike looks like.
Never seen it yet in almost a year of owning it.
Thanks

You have to jack it up and take the back wheels off. There is a cam on the shock. You need a standard shock adjusting wrench available at any bike shop for less than $10. Be carefull. Put supports under the trike before you start pulling on the wrench!

I made myself a couple of ramps out of 2x6s and drive up on them. That way you can get under rearend without taking off tires to adjust shocks. On IRS make sure shocks are on same setting.

I went a and blew a few clams for a platform lift, just to get it over and done with. Took off the right side wheel the other day and saw my tinny tiny shocks.

They are set on the highest position.
Now I have no clue if that's the Motor Trike factory setting or not?? But I will get a spanner someplace and try to lower them a bit.
I had to give my wrench away when I sold the Valkyrie.
Unless of course their is one in the GW tool kit??
Ive never even opened that yet.
So I guess I will tonight.

That lift works GREAT.
A lot of bux guys but makes life sooooooo much easier.

Didn't catch if you have a Goldwing, Harley or ???, but if your unit has reverse, or can find a friend, you might try backing your trike up on car ramps.

I have a GW, back it up and there is quite a bit of room underneath to do whatever.

ps. make sure there is adequate clearance at the back of the trike to clear the incline of the ramps.

How on earth do you lift the trike with that?

I hope you saw the date on this post???

It was when I 1st got the trike 6 years ago.

You set the platform on its lowest setting. Slide it under the rear frame rail where the hitch ball is and up you go.
