I haven't seen a ceremony in a long time. I got bust with cross stitch for charity and a lot of other stuff and while check the news I found this. October 7, 2023 it was commissioned.

Just a little curious… At what point do you call a boat a ship?..-

Easy answer is size and amenities. A yacht can carry a boat but a boat cannot carry a yacht. A ship can carry a boat or yacht (or many of them) but a yacht cannot carry a ship and neither can a boat. So boats are smaller floating vessels usually less than 25-30 feet. Yachts are a bit bigger, usually 30 feet or so and longer. Ships are bigger yet, usually over 100 feet. But there are no hard specific definitions...... And lots of exceptions, IE: U-Boats, Fishing Boats, Race Boats, Tug Boats, Ferry Boats......

Thanks Val, almost in our back yard, lol. The ship is in Tampa, about 45 minutes from our home.
