2021 Tri Glide 131 Frustrations

I recently purchased a 2021 Tri Glide. I ordered it with a 131 upgrade. Dealer gladly took my money and when all my parts came in they told me they couldn't put 131 on Tri Glide. Said my parts will be on the shelf if Harley ever comes up with a tune. Does anyone have any information or experience with this?

Give corporate a call just to make sure the dealer isn't just giving you a line...

And if it were true i would get my money for the parts back.....And then if you find later down the road that you still want to do the 131.....Find a different dealer to do it..:Shrug:..

Maybe corporate [Harley HQ]....Can give you a time frame???..

Have the dealer issue you a new bill of sale minus the upgrade charge . Then deal with the finance co. For a new payment schedule. $$ .:Shrug:

Hopefully, Highaltidude sees this post. He has a 131 in his Tri Glide. Although I remember him telling me he had issues with getting a correct tune for the 131, he did get all the issues worked out. I am sure he can help you out!

My understanding is…..

They changed the ECM for 2021. Smart people are working hard to figure out how to tune one…..

The Screamin’ Eagle tuner, for pre 2021 131 M8s, won’t flow enough fuel to make it run right.

Officially, a pre 2021 M8 runs really well on a Power Vision tune, but it voids the warranty.
