Hi everyone. Just joined. Looking at a 2019 Tri Glide. Seller has agreed to my offer of $27,500 Bike has less than 2000 miles on it. I think it’s a good price. Bike looks fantastic. No mods. Has had one recall done and the 1000 mile service done. Would be having the vent fix done before even leaving the dealership. I thought there was a service bulletin issued on this by Harley Davidson. Dealer said it’s up to me to have it done. It’s a consignment sale the dealership is handling. Any other issues I should ask the seller about. Been looking for any issues on the forum but it’s been awhile since I was last on the forum and I haven’t figured out the new format yet. Any links would be appreciated.
OR.
I can get a 2022 Tri Glide with 1000 miles on it for 29,995.00 just not really a color I’d prefer. Thoughts suggestions, which way would you lean.
Thanks in advance. Tim

Tim, if you don't like the color now how will you feel in a year or so, just saying. They both have the M8 motor so that's good, I'm not sure what you're referring to about the vent though.

Major difference between the two is 2019 Hydraulic Clutch versus 2022 Cable Clutch. If I remember correctly, everything else remained the same.

This is Harleys answer for the oil transfer issue, they put a vent in the inner primary similar to the one in the transmission.

Three year newer trike with fewer miles and may yet still be in factory warranty for a very small difference in price. The 22 will be worth much more going forward. Color or not it’s a no brainer imo for the 22.

I would go with the 2022 IMHO, it is going to be your bike so just decide what you can live with, if you go with the 2019 get a softbrake lever for the 2019 since it is hydraulic, it will bring the friction point closer to the grip instead of all the way out

All for now Trampas
