2015 Harley Trikes

Wait for the '15's Maybe H-D has fixed all the %$#@ problems with the Infotainment system and the ^%$#@ GPS. I doubt it though.

If I knew a year ago what I know now I wouldn't have bought the '14 no matter what the cost - until they got the GPS problems worked out. I would have kept my '12 TG.

I'm also experiencing primary/transmission problems. It's in the shop again (4th time). Tech says they are having all kinds of problems with the above.

Hell, they even had to rebuild the trans on my '12 TG after only 12K miles. :AGGHH:

Thank god I have the ESP.

Other then that I love my TG's.

Salesman showed me pictures of the '15 Road Glide's Infotainment unit and how it's been relocated closer to the rider and the whole fairing is also closer. He said tall riders may not like the new Road Glide.

What issues are you having with the primary and transmission??

I had a few friends come up here from Ill for a visit. Took them to Wild Prairie HD here in Minn. We both winter in Az and ride together. They have a 2014 HD Trike. So I took them to this shop to show them around. Ran into the salesmen that keeps giving me those good prices. NOW he told us he could probably have that Trike out the door for under $ 32K. :AGGHH:.My friend was all over that. Asking how can he sell that so cheap ? His dealer wanted $ 35 K for the same thing.

? He said he was told to move all 14's. Damn I wish I wasn't homeless and Bikeless right now. But got to get our home in AZ 1st.
:(

Man I would be all over that too for that price..Around here is much higher still..

Update on the KUTTER HD extended warranty. Correct they cannot sell the HD warranty out of state now starting in April. , BUT, they use another brand without the $50 deductable that is good at any HD dealer , Cornerstone United plan. $1,175 for 5 yr w/tire & wheels. $330 cheaper than the BEST DEAL my dealer would give me on my new 2015 I bought from them.
As soon as I get the refund from my 2012 bike plan I should still be in within 30 days and sign up for the best rate.

Good luck with that. No deductible at all? $330 cheaper and includes wheel coverage = WOW!!! It sounds way to good to be true. I'd sure like to know more about it.

Did you compare item to item with the Harley plan? My dealer doesn't know anything about any other warranty plan.

But if my dealer has never heard of it, what kind of service is he going to give me? Probably none.

I'll stick with a known plan that I know will fix anything. It has so far.

I'm still curious about this other plan though, it sounds too good to be true. I will look up this Cornerstone

Is there a brochure that shows everything that's covered like the other Harley plan brochure?

Is it transferable?

I got out yesterday to get some pics of my new 2015 Black Magic TriGlide. I live 1 1/2 miles from the Goodyear blimp hanger at Wingfoot Lake near my home in Hartville, Ohio. Just as I pulled into the empty parking lot the brand new blimp "Wingfoot One" , that was just christened a couple weeks ago, came in over me and landed. I got a few great shots of them backing it into the hanger while I watched. Too bad I couldn't get my camera out and working as it came right over me only a few yards above.blimp6.jpgblimp7.jpgblimp10.jpgblimp1a.jpgblimp11.jpg

That must have been awesome. I saw a blimp a couple weeks ago, but it was at least a couple miles away, but still close enough to be unforgettable. ThumbUp

I did check their website, but very limited info. Only listed about 10 or 12 covered items (none for latches and hinges) compared to H-D's 4 pages of covered items including latches and hinges of which I've already partook in.

My dealer still has no info about them so it wouldn't help me to have their plan.

Very nice color. The '15's seem to have a better color selection then the '14's. Those graphics, are they stock? That's something new.

What HD dealer did you use? I'm interested in the same color. Awesome looking TG.

I bought mine at CENTURY HD in Medina, Oh. But anyone can order one?
The graphics are on the two new CUSTOM colors. This BLACK MAGIC and the wild RADIOACTIVE GREEN which has the same style graphics but different colors.
Re: the warranty sold out of area by Kutter now. Palmer there says it covers some things HD doesn't. I'm going to check them closer when I get my 2012 refund back.

Just got my 2015 in the Black Magic and is it sweet. the 13 was nice but I'm hoping this one is as nice of a ride as the first 100 miles was.

Enjoy the ride and stay safe.

My 2014 "Roxy" runs better at 6500+ miles than it did new ..... just wait as it gets better and better the more miles you put on it. My motor and exhaust are stock .... and it really is a lot louder now with mileage. I have no heat issues .... but let's revisit that next Summer :D

At 1K service I had them do Syn 3 in all 3 holes ..... big mistake. I did not like how the tranny sounded when shifting.

At 2500 miles they offered another free service .... so I went with Syn 3 in motor, Formula+ in Primary, and Bel-Ray 85W-140 severe gear in tranny.

WOW What a huge improvement. Shifts smooth as butter. I'll be doing my own oil changes from here on out and this is the combo I will be sticking with.

You are going to keep loving the 2015 the more you drive it!!!

Took Roxy out today in brisk mid 40's temp .... and she ran great!!!!!

HDBob you are so right...I love Miss Mysterious more and more with each ride...I am running Mobil 1 20/50, Formula+ and Amsoil 75/140...I will say the hyd. clutch is smooth and so easy to pull and adjustment free...just a little cable lube at service...running 40 psi in front tire and same with shocks with 25 psi in rear tires...when I go to Freewheeler wheels I may go to Goodyear rear tires...

I was going to go with the Syn 3 when I took mine in for the 1,000 mile service because that's what I did with my Sportster. However, the dealer service writer told me that they were getting some complaints from people using Syn 3 about the way the transmission sounded. That convinced me to go with the regular oil. In my case I will probably only be making enough miles for one oil change per year before winter storage so sticking with regular oil versus Syn 3 probably won't have an impact.
