Whens the last time brake pads were replaced? The wear is easily checked with a flashlight thru the indicator window on the caliper. You can adjust the brakes with the wheels on the ground. Locate the rubber boot just behind and below the brake pedal. Pull back rubber boot. Loosen jam nut (14mm) Apply pedal to first click. Does trike roll? If it moves freely- release pedal and lengthen adjuster(13mm). Push pedal to 3rd click. Trike shouldn't roll. If it does turn adjuster clockwise. Apply anti seize lube to threads. Due to age of trike I would check disc runout. Use Permatex Silicone Extreme Cerramic Brake Parts Lubricant pn:80653 ( orange- NOT PURPLE) on caliper pins and pad backing. Change your front pads too.
