2014 Trike Suspension

I have a question on the suspension of the 2014 trike. Is a lift kit necessary when you have a heavier passenger. Are they made with a certain weight restriction? Or could they hold two riders that are over 250. I'm not sure if having to much weight will bottom out the trike.

My lifts will work. We weigh in a little less but also pull trailer.
I also have found the 2014 are still sitting as low as all others and can use a "lift".
