2014 question on 103 Engine

Someone just told me the 2014 103 engine has more torque than the past years. They said it was because the 2014 engine comes with the 254 cam. Anyone have an answer to this?

they are boosting more torgue and HP... not sure about the cam..

Torque listed on HD web site is 106 torque for 2014 the 2013 is listed as 100. Could be the cams, less restrictive air filter not sure.

It's not the 254 cam. It's more like a 255 says Harley. The torque at the rear wheel is much less though. MUCH less, like in the 80's

It was kind of a let down seeing some dyno sheets after reading all the hype from Harley. Its kind of a placebo, convince folks in writing it has more and when they ride it they think its more than it actually is.
