Thanks Rick, yes the dealer did state that they would take the Trike on several test drives to make sure that everything was working as it is suppose to and make any final adjustments that may need to be made. It's like Christmas Eve and I am a kid waiting to open his gift's, I can't wait.

Well great news my Trike is done and I will pick it up at noon tomorrow. They finished at 6 O'clock this evening, and want to go over the vehicle in the morning and take it for a test drive. Then make any adjustments that it may need. Hopefully not many, I'm ready to ride....

Well I just got a call from the dealer, my Trike is ready for pickuppepper.
I will post a pic of the final product when I get home and update my avatar.

Unfortunatly it was wind (40+ crosswind) and drizziling here in Southwest Oklahoma. I was unable to tell just how smooth the ride was with such terrible weather conditions. The one thing I did notice was there was no lean to the bike in the wind, she stood up straight, but with all that body you can fell the wind guest when they hit ya. Gas mileage was terrible, made this trip several times before Trike was added and I averaged about a 1/4 tank to or from Altus to Lawton, this time I used almost a 1/2 a tank (windy, heavier, and more moving parts) guess I answered my own question (may look into Aux Tank now). Well anyway hopefully it will be a decent day today so I can take her for another spin and see how smooth she ride without the wind. Also want to take the wife out and see what she thinks, after all she was the one that wanted a trike. I did notice that on wet roads you can easily break loose those rear tires in a turn when excelerating (that was fun)...With all that I just said, I'm still grinning from ear to ear. She is a beautiful ride.

Any difficulty going from 2 wheels to 3? I am still thinking of riding mine home about 200 miles when it is finished, maybe this week.

I think a better word is difference and there will be a good bit.If you have never ridden a trkie I suggest you find a vacant parking lot and practice some before you leave.do some figure8's and get some feel for it.The problem I had to start was relaxing and not overdriving. The good times are just begining.RIDE SAFE

Sorry I dd not respond sooner, the weather here was great today. 65+ degrees and a slight breeze. Went out for a short ride75 mile, topped off Trike and picked up the wife, she was on the bike with her helmet on and plugged in before I got out of the house. Rode another 75 + mlies with her, as she stated "this is a great ride". Can't wait to pack up a couple of bags and hit the road. It was not hard to transition form a bike with a sidecar to the Trike. The best part was making right yurns and not felling the sidecar try to lift of the ground, also I should have raked the Hack as it would have been alot easier to steer. The 6 degree rake I had installed on my Trike is awsome, steering is light and quick response. Both my wife and I felt totally comfortable on the Trike even in the few twisty areas near Medicine Park and Latonka Lake (Oklahoma). Anyway I'll sign off now hope to see you all out on the open road or at a Rally.

Congrats on the new trike. Its great that you and the wife both love it. Enjoy!

How about some photos when you get a chance?
