2012 Roadsmith Trike

Hi phil,

I like the looks of the Roadsmilth. Are you going to let people ride it at Wing Ding??

I might be in the market next year but I want to ride one before making a decision.

Thanks for the help on my trike. You guys are great!

A couple of things,I weigh around 270 and when riding at slower speeds I like to stand up fr a bit to give my butt a rest, will the floor boards hold me without having to worry about them cracking?
Another thing why don,t you trike companys put some kind of vent in the front part of the floor board that can be opend and closed to let air in on a persons foot and legs and can be closed in bad weather?:Shrug::Shrug::Shrug::Shrug:

Looks Good
Still don't care for the Honda color scheme, but the kit blends in well.

Nice looking trike. Did you have to do anything different than you would have on a 2010?

Cycleguy,
Sorry we were getting ready to leave and I didn't have a chance to get back on here to reply. All the changes were cosmetic.

Stan,
We were at the Roadsmith display and we had 2 2012's, an '08, '04 and 1500 Goldwing all available for demos all 4 days.

Nice looking 2012, in fact I think it looks WAY BETTER as a trike than as a 2 wheeler. So based on your comments RoadSmith did not have to do a redesign to make the kit fit a 2012?

Also it there still an external tank option on the 2012? (on edit Never mind I see the filler cap in the picture, still 5 gal?)

JimP to answer your question my 350lbs has no problem standing on RoadSmith boards on a GL1500. I too agree about the vent

No, they didn't have to redesign it. And I agree with it looking better as a trike than a 2 wheeler.
