Well I guess I now have my answer...they aren't coming to a dealership near you.

I guess some of you may have wondered where I disappeared to for the last two months or so (and then again...maybe nobody noticed...), while waiting for any word on the upcoming new Stallion I went ahead and decided (this was in November), along with my wife that I was going to hold off for now getting a Stallion...maybe in another two or three years (if they resume production) but for now I am going to stay on two wheels while I can still enjoy that mode of traveling. So I purchased a 2010 Triumph Phantom Red Haze/Black 1700 Thunderbird motorcycle with possible plans on buying the Rocket III Tourer later on this year. I haven't seen or ridden my new bike...that comes on Feb 9th when I am home on my last R&R till I come home for good later on this summer.

In addition I am also looking into buying a new 2011 Ford F150 FX2 SuperCab as well while trading in my Mustang GT for it while I am home on this upcoming R&R.

I still plan, if the Stallion is still available to buy in a couple of years, on owning a Stallion in my future and see, hopefully, that the news of the current uncertainty of getting a new drive train integrated into the Stallion chassis will be solved.

I have met a lot of great people on this site and I am going to keep an eye on you and hopefully give my 2 cents on occasion but I am focused elsewhere for the most part. I do want to thank all those who answered my many questions, provided pics and put up with my inane chatter. But you all are a great bunch of people and I hope that your ownership and riding experience of the Stallion will still remain a good one and that in the end there will be some good news coming your way.

I don't know if I will still make it to the rally in June or not, I was/am planning to stop by and say hello if I am home in June for the first part of my two part vacation. But I may have to stay over here till the end of June and come home the beginning of July...we'll have to see...my wife and I will talk about that when I am home in February.

And to clear up anything that may still seem a little vague...if TBMS puts a Chevy engine in the Stallion...then a Stallion may not be in my future...Ha!

Take care and enjoy all that early spring weather you all are having (especially up nawth).

Well, I'm glad to see you getting a new ride, the Phantom is a nice scooter, I know you will have a blast on it..best to you while playing in the sand box. I hope you do get back in time for the rally. Take care of yourself and do hang out here will you can.

Congrats on the new bike! We hope you are able to stop by Maggie Valley in June -- you are part of the family here by now, and we'd love to meet you in person. Stay safe, and have fun with your new ride(s) :)

It was great to meet you in person Dennis. Just because your still a 2-wheeler dont be a stranger. ThumbUp

Dennis, Good luck with all the new wheels you are looking at. Just because your not on 3 for awhile doesn't mean we will kick you off the site. Be careful over there and hope you can drop by the rally.
