hsd real /great performance out of the $& S 511 gear cam.my '09 t/g really is a different bike since i had it installed.ialso put adj. push-rods at the same time. notice the $$ 2k to have this done.
the gear drive cams eliminate the adjustment shoe. at 11k mine showed more wear than i expected.

many people put a fueling oil pump in at the same time. i didn't but i did put their stiffer oil spring. in order to up the idle oil pressure. it now runs 15 at idle and 55 above idle. you need more oil pressure than stock system can provide because the gear cam system uses cage bearings; and on start-up the more oil pressure = longer bearing life.

I'm not much of a fan of gear drive cams in the newer Twin Cams, just don't trust the crank and the new style tensioners have proven them selves to be pretty reliable. My 2010 has .005 run out and I'm pretty sure over time it will increase, .003 is the max run out you can have with gear drive.
