2010 Wing/Champion pipes ?

I sure would like to get a little more sporty sound and more power out of my Wing. Any one put pipes on a triked wing and did you get more power or just sound ? Coming off sport bikes I love that deep sound and rush of power. I know the wing will never match those days of the past but nor will I so a little more sound and maybe a little more power will do me just fine.:Trike1:

I know that my 2 friends have CSC's and they are louder then my Champion.
I heard it's due to something CSC does with the exhaust during the conversion.

I don't like the 100 MPH sewing machine sound so I took my mufflers off all together and took it to the local muffler shop and had the guy put on 2 1/2 inch open pipes in place of the mufflers, have chrome slash cut tips and it looks cool and sounds great. You can go bigger and longer pipe for a lower tone but I like what I have.
Oh yeah the conversion cost was $100.00, with chrome tips.

If I understand you , your running just pipes and no mufflers ? If that is correct how did it effect your preformance ? :Shrug:

So do you remove the catalytic converters?

I had a CSC conversion before this Hannigan. Hannigan uses the original mufflers so there is not difference in the sound but the CSC did sound much "throatier" (if that is even a word)....Some riders like it and others think they are too noisy. I kinda liked the CSC sound. I knew a guy that put aftermarket pipes on his Wing. It still sounded like sewing machine,,, just a loud one.

I have been running Torque Master Exotic Mufflers with their Torque Loopz that take off the Cat. Converters.

Nice Ferrari sound with minimal increase in HP and More Torque, wife loves our 3 wheel Ferrari, I had to add 6 1/8" extension on my Roadsmith kit to get them to the back of the kit. But under the rear nerf bumper.... their are Sound Files on the website. I have had these pipes since 2003 when I changed them as a two wheeler.

When I had the 2013 CSC Viper kit installed on my 1800, they removed the OEM exhaust system and installed the pipes that come with the kit!

The pipes are definitely 'throatier' - if that's a word!

'04 Wing: Torque Loopz and Cobra TriOvals make the bike sound like a cross between a sport bike and a Carrera when you screw in the throttle, but nicely subdued at cruise. No 'drone'. Seemed to increase performance some, as my mechanic, who also owns a GL mentioned after a test ride that my bike had more power than his. Lost a little MPG, only because it sounds so nice when I roll the throttle wide open!! Not cheap by any means, but sometimes, ya know, it is the price of 'fun',...
