2010 Vulcan 900 Storm info needed

Sorry it appears no one can answer your question. 900 cc will work as a trike for mostly around town and side roads. 2 up on the superslab may be a test.

BadButch, I had a 2011 Storm for almost 2 years. Have to say we loved it. It is a great around town and back road bike. We have done many 2-400 mile trips on the interstate with it and no real complaints other than comfort and noise/wind. I mounted a top tour pack to it so that we could carry and secure more STUFF !!

It lacks power at freeway speeds, so if you run the mountains at 55+, acceleration is not happening. Especially 2 up. We traded it for a Goldwing trike and honestly I wish I could have afforded to keep both.

I would like some info from those that have one of these as to what your honest opinions are. I wonder if it is a good smooth 2 up trike.

Hi, I have talked to an owner of vulcan 900 with champion kit, he lives in nc. I asked him how it pulled 2 up in the mountains and he said it rolled up and down freeway great, no problems. Hope that helps. Thanks Tom

We ride a 900 storm

We bought a Vulcan 900 storm this winter. We have 4,000 miles on it so far. Most of the miles are me alone like trips to the adirondacks. I rode it to work a few times, but prefer my 2 wheeler for a daily driver.

2 up is fine, I would not ride all day on the high speed expressways. It just does not have the balls.

We have a full windshield and chrome lowers.

The trike will go 75 all day even two up. Up hill and a head wind? 75 is all she has.

Alone it will do 91 mph flat out.

This trike does best on 55 mph roads.

Plenty of balls to pass, it will pull in high gear all day if we want. We both run it in 4th gear under 60 for a little better control and less vibration.

It pulls all hills in high gear two up.

I like ours!

A little more

We went to Watkins Glenn saturday and Sunday.

2 up all the way. We took the 390 and 86 for about an hours worth of driving. zero problems. We both drive and had a blast.

On the way back we ended up on the Thruway for about 75 miles. Again No problems, We both tried cruising at 80 for a while. Its fun, vibration is enough and it takes 2 hands on the bars. Same Hill, no Headwind, this time 2 up I could go 80 if I wanted.

We get 40 mpg unless we go over 65 mph, then it drops fast.
