Just got my 11' TG back from 20,000 mile service. Only problem, the clutch cable was leaking again at the crimped fitting where it goes into the transmission. This is the second one they have replaced under warranty. Told me it is a continuing issue. That was the only thing out of the ordinary.

Ready to go to Yellowstone next week and freeze our a$$e$ off!

Oh! New rear / reversed front tire has worn down 1/32 in 5,000 miles. Not too bad I would think.

when i replaced mine (doing bar change) i butter lubed the "O" ring in
non-hardening permatex sealant. just a very light coat is needed.

Enjoy your trip. I just returned from there 2 weeks ago. Had a wonderful trip. Yes, it certainly was cold in the mornings. The morning we lft to come home it was 39 degrees. We are early risers and left a 6 am.

Thanks!..It has been hitting 32 degrees at night there the last 10 days. So it will be a little chilly, but we are geared for that. Staying a night at my Sisters ranch a couple hours east of West Yellowstone too. Will be a great trip.

Thnx!! We always see a lotta Buffs and Elk ,,,but have not seen a bear in YS for several years. Mr. Ranger has done a good job teachin' 'em to stay away from our pickinic baskets I guess Maybe we will see one this time ...I hope.

Hey Trent, take my TG, it has a heater will keep you nice and toasty! Have a wonderful and safe trip, and don't forget the long draws, as we say in the south...

Hey Skeet..I apprciate that offer, but No thanks!!!!!!!!! There are enough wildfires burning around there already, and if I drove yours down the road there, it might start some more!!! Not only that, it might warm the park up so much, the bears will think they don't have to hibernate this year. And my Wife won't ride behind me if I am just wearing tighty whiteys. Ha!! Thnx though!!!

Guess what...my clutch cable is now leaking at the transmission on my 11 Tri Glide. Just called the dealer and made an appointment and they told me that they all eventually do that  and they have replaced several. At least it is still under warranty.
