2 wheels to 3

This going from 2 wheels to 3 wheels seems to by like going from a power boat to a sail boat.
It's nice to keep both at hand if your budget allows.

Sometimes its just nice to have a bike that has no really great inherent value(my Yamaha RoadStar). It owed me nothing, cost 25$ a month to keep it insured.
So why not??

If I had a Wing and nothing else. Id still have triked it.
3 wheels gives me a lot more piece of mind riding.
Im still invisible to these headless cars and trucks down here driven by folks who should have had their licenses taken away years ago.:AGGHH:
But I can say you will have zero regrets and not miss 2 wheels at all.
Anything you can do on 2 you can do on 3 even lean if you want to.
Leaning however now wont do anything but maybe make you fall off if you lean over to far..............
Just do it you wont look back.

My blue/silver 2012 Goldwing is at the converter as I write this, and I'm really can't wait to see it converted.

Thanks to the poster on the forum that suggested to take pictures as the conversion takes place in stages,
and will be presented to me by the wife of the conversion company.

I'll post some pictures when they arrive.

I switched to 3 wheels for safety and fatigue reasons. Knees are still good. I bought it with 2 wheels and just didn't feel safe. Never regretted it once. The better I get at riding on 3 wheels the more I enjoy it. My wife litterally falls asleep in back she's so comfortable. I think I might have to start tieing her in with bungy cords or duct tape!

My wife used to fall asleep on 2 wheels until we got her on her own. I don't know how anyone could do that. I sure couldn't.

I ride my Yamaha Roadstar 100+ miles per week and love it. My trike I ride maybe 100 miles per month. My wife and I don't have the time to ride on long trips at this time in our lives (taking care of her elderly mother). We get a few short lunch rides per month. I am going to have to give up my two wheels someday as I am approaching 70 and don't know how much longer I can ride.

Was heading for disaster with our big touring bike, and was scared to take my wife. Triking bike was a great solution. Like the safety, comfort and stability of our trike. Can live without the leaning.
