2.8 chevy v6 trike

Iam building my trike using a cut apart gold wing frame. All that's left of the GW frame is the front down tubes and tubing around the gas tank. Will end up with a 45 degree rakeand the whole drive train will be on a swing arm. I have a question for all of. What is the shortest tranny that will bolt up to my 2.8 v6? Or can I just do away with the tail and use a short shaft and plate and seal?

not sure about the shortest trans but pretty sure u need some sort of support .... u will want 2 universals as well many have atemped using one and it doesnt work well...
as for the front end.. if your are running a telescopic front 45 you will probably find the sliders wont move freely. and unless you have some raked trees you will have a hard time driving it.... as the trail will be way too much usually about 1.5 - 2.5 work well...
just trying to save you some trial and error time

im using a stubby turbo 350 with a lockup converter. It is the shortest trans i could find when i started my build in Florida. I looked and measured lots and lots of trans.. my drive shaft is 8 inchs and has two universals. i also had trail issues and ended up cutting and raking my trees now steers like a dream. lots and lots of good info here helped me out a lot.
