My new to me 2015 freewheeler update.
I haul to base camp and ride a lot since the toyhauler /travel trailer is also home away from home.
In May we did a long weekend south of Dayton,Ohio. I was there for the Amateur radio convention.
We rode every day and we were mostly on nice roads so the riding was nice also. The trike performed well .
The home made rear shift arm extension made it a lot easier to find neutral about 80% of the time. It is better.
I can improve on this and I have the aluminum stock and the neighbor has a mill but hell its working so no hurry .
As far as shifting the thing still makes a ton of noise no matter how its shifted and seems to get worse on hot days.
I also still question if the clutch releases properly every time ?
I havent switched to shockproof heavy yet in the trans but hopefully soon as ive been getting everything back cleaned and in shape after 24 days in Virginia,Ohio and Pennsylvania . That was the last trip . Got back home the 25th.
The back of the dragon I have ridden before but we decided we needed to try it on the trike ! Its a workout but we got er done :)
Myself I can honestly say that the back of the dragon is more fun on 2 wheels but still no regrets.
We did a lot more riding in VA and again the trike performed well although I am still not in tune with the harsh ride in the rear on bumpy roads.
I have noticed that this thing seems to lug quite a bit on hills prompting to down shift quite a bit and of course all but maybe 2 times for a quick run into town we were 2 up on the trip . I wonder if anyone else sees this.
The wife still says this is the best thing we have done at 73 years young as we do plan on riding many years yet and we have discussed the fact that if we didnt have a bike or trike vacations would be boring .
With the addition of the batwing ive chased a couple problems but I have also created fixes for the problems . It performs well and I got the windshield height figured out . The used like new sundowner seat I picked up really improved the ride for the wife.
The lowers performed well especially in the rain we hit in Ohio .
The last few days in VA heat was a problem as it was just too hot to ride so we didnt.
Riding in 100% heat is no fun.
I took a day while in Ohio and went to work detailing the trike. I got this with 10k on the clock and it seemed there were 2 previous owners and I dont think either one ever really washed the thing. I spent a month earlier on the paint back in April.
The wheels are spotted with black spots on the aluminum and I havent figured out how to remove that if I can as of yet.
If I can come up with the funds this winter I may have all 3 blasted and powder coated shiny black. Or possibly chrome powder coat. We shall see.
Since were on a strictly S/S income I have to be a bit careful but at least I dont have to work ;)
For now the riding is going to be from home since we need to recoup some funds for another trip.
Now on to the next adventure.

Says no nonsense cleaner. I found it here at Menards and had I looked sooner I could have picked some up yesterday as I was there with my fathers day gift card in hand . At least I know where to get it .

Could you perhaps post a pic of the bottle? I'm interested.
