has anyone put a reserve shut off on a fuel injected trike. are their any problems with it .

The only issue I can think is that with the valve you will run it out of fuel and switch to reserve. Problem fuel injection systems are not very happy getting air into them. And getting it restarted can be a issue. The air has to purge to get the fuel into the pump to get the high pressure the injectors need to function. I don't see the benefit.

How would you go about adding the second pick up point for the pump?
These machines already have 2 resettable odometers and a fuel gauge.

All three of my gold wings have been spot on with the gauges as far as accuracy. Every time I gas up I double check to make sure. I have 100% faith in the gold wing gauges. However, if you’re talking about a Harley, I appreciate and understand your concern. Lol.
