Hello, everybody!!

I’ve been riding my beloved 2012 BMW K1600GTL since new, and decided to convert it instead of trading it for a new trike. I figure it gives me at least 5 more years of wind therapy before I hang up the helmet. It was converted by the Hannigan factory during the winter of 2024-25 and delivered in February.

I ride with the Colorado Patriot Guard Riders and this photo is from an interment service we stood at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Welcome Trike Talk from Southern Maine, David!

I had a love/hate relationship with a BMW K1200LT between Goldwing models. Nice bike but it was then that I realized German engineers are very different from Japanese engineers!

Hi David,welcome to the insannity. What a beautiful conversion. Unless the milage is so high as to make it unreliable, I think converting what you have is always a good idea.
