I am running Cobra Slip-Ons on my 1800 and mileage sucks. Pretty much a straight through pipe. Slightly baffled. Maybe I'll remove the baffles and see what happens. :Shrug: Just might be to dang loud. :Shrug:
I have had mine for many years on my 1800. Call and talk with them and they will guide you to the correct seat. Their seats are based on weight and size. I am 200# and have the Lowboy. As weight increases the seat moves back some.
Went with a Roadsmith kit myself. Did 90% of the work myself with a a few extra hands when needed. Check them out and look at their instructions. Well laid out.
I added Mud Flaps to my VTX1800 with a Roadsmith kit. Got tired of folks complaining about junk and rain coming from the tires on rides.
Sooooooooooo;
Mud flaps $20.00
Angle iron $11.00
Assorted nuts and bolts $5.00
Curious as to what exhausts you guys are using. I know they will be different from different trike manufacturers but was curious.
I have used the stock Retro and the Cobra slip-ons. Thinking of throwing on a Neo set to see what they sound like on the road.
