I would need to see a picture of the wheel your thinking of placing my wheel disc behind. It would have to be a mag first off. The clearance that your mentioning between the caliper and the disc, on a tri-glide is .060 . My discs will NOT mount with spoked wheels, just the stock 15" mag wheels...

They dont cause heating of the brakes. They are set inside, recessed in the mag and dont block the air that cools the brakes. They virtually block the brake dust from migrating between the mag spokes from coating the cosmetic side of your wheels.
So you know,... the SS wheel discs are set within the mag. They do not block the air flow that cools the brake discs. Every time the brakes are applied. Brake dust goes every where under your trike and even migrates through the openings between the mag spokes. When I came out with the discs...
