We are gonna try to make it to MGV 25. Our truck ran good on our TX trip, but anything can happen with 300,000 mi on it. We have reservations at Cross Creek for 8/29 to 9/5. Site 29- jjvw

Clutch chatter, or something else?
My roadie has 110,000 miles on it. The clutch slipped a little so I installed a Barnet clutch. The only thing I have problems with is the belt loosing it teeth and the middle gear chain that drives the gear pulley. Hauling A Trike
Trailering anything with wheels with trans in gear may cause damage to drive train, due to the rocking motion. You can't get it tight enough to stop movement because all tie downs stretch due to the inertia of heavy weight in motion. I have seen several race cars and motorcycles damaged that...- jjvw

What fuel? Anyone ever use Aviation fuel?
Back in the the 70s, We had problems in our race cars when we used leftover high octane fuel in the tank after replacing a blown engine temporally with a detuned spare engine. Using a fuel that is higher octane than the engine requires, may cause SVS, sticky valve syndrome. SVS is a...- jjvw

Our old truck decided to stop at Rocky Top TN and go no further. Repair shops will not be open until tuesday. Then depending on whats wrong, it could be out of service for most of the week.
