Touring comfort
Why so many miles each day ? I always stayed flexible on miles , depending on fatigue, weather and actual enjoyment. Remember" there is a fine line between adventure and ordeal " From all your mod's it almost looks like you are trying to spend yourself to poverty :cool:- DandyDoug

If you decide on an open trailer, here's a tip to save you some windscreen and paint damage. Buy a couple rolls of wide painters tape (either the blue or green). Tape up the screen and fairing and any other parts that might be subject to damage. Have a great trip and send us pictures or it...- DandyDoug

Many years ago a group that we rode with in FL were at a one of our regular breakfast stops. When I got up to use the restroom this sweet old lady asked me very quietly if we were that Hells Angles gang. I smiled and said no, we are more like the "Awe Shucks" gang. Which Helmet ?
I usually wear a modular helmet myself. Also about went blind trying to find one that fit properly and I could afford. Ended up with the Shoei neo-tech in a size medium. What's Your Opinion???
Boy I really regret selling my 2004 Road King Custom after watching this video. A friend of mine , a died in the wool BMW rider has learned ,after much back and forth with his dealer . His bike is out of warranty and will cost as much to repair it as it is worth on the market. Lesson learned ...- DandyDoug

Seat much better now
I fixed the butt pain problem with a Beaded seat . in summer I use just the Beaded seat, and in cooler weather I add a Sheepskin on top of the beads. Yes the beads are hard , but keeping the air flow helps cool the boys and the cheeks too.- DandyDoug
