Smoothing it out

Gas mileage
OK, what can I do, without spending tons on tuners, etc, to get better gas mileage?? I'm only getting 28-36 mpg. I'm used to as much was 44 on my 2016 StreetGlide.- bluesman

Just a shout out to let you know that after 10 years on 2 wheels, I'm back on a trike as of yesterday. Purchased a 2017 Gold/Black TriGlide that had on 510 miles on it. Got it $10,000 cheaper than a new one. Good to be back.- bluesman

Clutch dragging?????
Not knowing much about Harleys, is it normal for the trike to luch forward about 6" when starting in low gear with the clutch pulled in? It's like the clutch is dragging. I can't even push it by hand unless it's in neutral. Has 989 miles on it right now & it has done that since day one.- bluesman

1000 Mile service
If I let anyone other than the HD shop perform my 1000 mile service, will it void my warranty? My local mechanic is an ex HD shop mech who builds & repairs Harleys every day. I read the owners manual which states" Work SHOULD be completed by an authorized HD mechanic unless you have the tools...- bluesman

BUGS
Just got a new 2013 TriGlide on Friday the 13th. What do you use on your fenders & fairings to make bugs slide off easier? I have heard lemon Pledge and I have used that on plastic surfaces like fairings, but is it ok to use on the fenders???- bluesman
