When we bought the TG the previous owner stated the programing was set for the best fuel economy.
I'm far from comfortable with changing the programing but i think it can run better.
Question is: if i try to chg it and eff it up can i just unplug the control box and run without it until i have someone fix it?

I had a power commander on my 06 glide and it just plugged in between the computer and the the injection I think so ya you should be able to just unplug it and plug it in as it was stock. I actually remapped mine somewhat as I had a stumble around 40 mph . If your changing it with a laptop save it off first then you can also reload the programming thats in it now.

Who programmed ( tuned) it? With what? What's been done to the motor...Just slip ons and air cleaner? What codes if any do you have?

Independent shop. Just exhaust. Codes as in error or when i open the fuelpak app?

Vance & Hines has the owners manual online. The Fuelpak program saves the factory map. This can be reflashed. V&H has good customer service available. Give them a call.
