Funny to come across this thread. I have DISH coming back today after asking the last guy that showed up to get off my property. I am trying to move into this century, getting an HD TV and upgrading present DISH for that. Guy wanted to do as little as possible to get it working, stating if I had problem later, they could come back and rerun new, better cables. Ask him just to replace it now as this was an upgrade install and he looked at me like I was from another planet. These subs just want to do as little as possible for their flat rate pay for an install.
Sorry, but customer service has gone out the window, too bad our grandchildren will never know how good we had it. (remember when they checked your oil and pumped the gas?)
