Anybody trailer their Trikes?

I maybe having to trailer my trike this Spring for a couple 1000 miles. Do you guys just secure the rear by the factory axle loops and strap down the front? Or do you run the front tire into one of those chocks like a 2 wheeler? I have a chock available but thought about not using it because of the added strain on the reverse motor backing it out. Maybe I'm just over thinking this? Thanks

I do both. Never had an issue with the reverse when backing it out.

I have done it for years . Its not bran sic. Just tie down the front #1 go to back tie it down puling it to the front of trailer block the tires and you are good too go.

Chock up front and straps left and right both front and rear.
First the front straps pulling the wheel snugly into the chock, pulling forward and slightly left and right
Then rear straps crisscross right and left pulling slightly to the rear.
I've been doing it this way since the 70s. 2,3 and 4 wheels. Never had anything move at all.

Valid point about using the Reverse. I’d strap the front tire down and not use the chock. I like having a trike because I don’t have to worry about it coming loose on the trailer and falling over. That would not happen with me because I strap stuff down with so many ratchet straps the vehicle could turn over and the load would not fall out. I only use the reverse as a last resort. I’d ask a friend to help push the bike out of the chock before I’d put a strain on that motor. Just my opinion.

I have a chock up front and run the straps through the front wheel pulling left and right forward. The rear straps are crossed through the wheels also and rearward, I can't use the tie down points, my mufflers would get crushed.
