What do you like about your California Sidecar Trike?

When you finally have the opportunity to ride in heavy rain, the person behind you will notice that your trike kicks up a roster tail of water similar to a truck. I checked with CSC and they do not offer mud flaps for their Encore Trike Kit as an option, and that is an accessory that I want on my trike. I had Pat at Ace Trike of Harrington Delaware do my Encore conversion. He is fitting aftermarket mud flaps with LED lighting to my ride on 16 July. Something you may want to look into especially if you guys ride together.

Do you know if this is specific to Encore kits or will it happen with the Viper and Cobra kits as well.? I'm curious because I never really paid attention to this before.

I have no experience with the Viper or Cobra kits. I can tell you for certain that I had no idea how much water my rear tires were kicking up when riding in heavy rain, but my buddy riding behind me sure did, and told me about it when we stopped for gas.

My Daytona had a bumper - does not look like a lot of water is kicked up.

That CSC Tshirt giveaway thread was started at the request of CSC who provided the TShirts to kick start their Sponsor's forum. It was never intended to be a forever promotion and should have been closed long ago, but was not, my apologies. It is closed now.

Love the lines of my Cobra XL... Kit has been troublefree since it's install. Had a LOT of issues with my installer but CSC squared away most of those issues when I took the trike to them for the rework.

Looking forward to many more troublefree miles from this conversion...
