Tomorrow I order my CSC Conversion through my dealer.. Quick questions

I have a 2013 Harley Ultra Classic..

I am heading to the dealer in the morning to get everything finalized and ordered..

What changes from the passenger seat forward.. Do you retain the speakers in the passenger seat area?

Did you send the bike with the saddlebags on, or did you remove the bags and brackets before sending it to get the bike done..?

How much value do you think it brought to your bike on the retail side..

Thanks in advance..

nothing changes from the passenger seat forward. if you have a trunk with speakers you should still have the same afterwards. as far as the saddle bags and brackets. either you can take them off before taking it to the dealer or you'll be hauling them home after the conversion. as far as resale. i really couldn't tell you on that one. but i would think that the value of the bike and the price of the kit combined would be a good start on retail.

By all means, remove the saddlebags - you can sell those and, lots of other things. I was able to sell almost all of my old parts. Remember that rear tire and wheel are worth something. I had rear saddlebag rails and other items.

As an FYI, the passenger seat will be a few inches back. So, if your wife rides, she will have some extra room; my wife loved that, and she is only 110 pounds.

What all are you putting on the trike - in my opinion, the rake is a MUST.

ARB, the powertrak (rake), Reverse, the lightbar.. also getting the 17" Maxxim Wheels ..

Thanks for the info, I didn't even think about the rear wheel.. that tire only has 900 miles on it.. so yes.. appreciate the info..

The rake to me will make a huge difference over a Harley Trike.. I have heard nothing but good things about it..

Hello Donald (cycle7447),

My name is Bill and I live in Canton, MI.

Can you tell me what dealer you used for your trike? Is it a CSC? How long have you had it?

I am in the beginning stages of looking at converting my bike into a trike and so far I like the suspension system of the CSC.

Thank you

William this is an old thread. You may get a better response starting a new thread of your own.

Our trike is a CSC and we love it. It rides and handles great. It was built at the CSC facility in Arrington, Virginia.

I didn't think that a 11/2022 would be considered that old.

The distance from my place to Virginia is about twice the distance.

Plus I want to have the gas tank, front fender and side panels repainted. Don't think the factory wants to get into all of that.

We have had 2 Honda Goldwings with CSC Trike kits.

First was a 2010 and current is a 2018.

We wouldn't have anything but CSC trikes but everyone has their favorites.

Longest warranty in industry and their kits fit well and look great.

Email or call Will @ CSC and find out about a close dealer or one that puts the most kits on that is close. That is what we did with our last kit.

Bill - just saw your other post and responded. As I mentioned, my bike was done by Motor City Trikes. It is indeed a CSN conversion - and, we love it. Our's was completed in May of 2022.

As someone mentioned, CSC has a great warranty - 5 years. The longest in the business. Seems like everyone can talk to their folks in the factory - if you have concerns, they will work with you. Asan example, the wheels I wanted were not in stock. So, they shipped the kit with optional wheels and told me when they came in, they would send the new wheels. This way, I could ride.

About a month later, my wheels arrived (backorder because of covid delays).

At rallies, everyone can't believe this conversion. Let's talk - if you go with CSC, there are some things that I think are a must like the rake kit.

Stop by and take a look at mine.
