We never were in bace camp long enough for any shows.....And the entertainers never dropped in to see us in Indian Country....Well we were pulled in to do perimeter for one hour while a celebrity..(He) was led on a Dog and Pony Show at a Special Forces Camp.....And i think he was given a Ceremonial Green Beret for his heroism in getting as close 5 Clicks of Charle..-.....

That must’ve been the base camp guards……We -Our room was 3 men under our poncho liners (GI hooch) …And one awake at all times…some times back to back like Forest and Bubba+ 1.. do I miss those days I sure as hell don’t miss them . Glad I went through it and came back in one piece. There’s no good memories there…That was 57 years ago (For me) time to bury the hatchet…

We had cases of Budweiser dropped -through the triple canopy once.. it was a Nice jester but warm shaken beer sucked… and wouldn’t surprise me if some of those cases are still hanging up in those trees..
