What kind of mileage do you have on an Avon Trike front tire? I have 13000 and it still looks pretty good,

I'm at about 15000, and getting close to time to get a new tire. Like anything always depends on riding style and road/weather conditions.
I had about 20,000 miles on our '15 with the Avon Trike Tire when we traded it in, it still looked good.

I'm on my second season with my Avon tire and not a sign of problem so far
Apparently I waited too long to purchase one....now they seem to be unObtanium....except one on eBay at $254 + $15 shipping....:xzqxz:

I have used two avon cobra trike tires on 08 goldwing/Roadsmith and love the feel and ride but 8000 miles and they are worn out. I average 10-12K miles per year so l have to change 2 times per riding season. Not a aggressive rider but do ride lots of twisties. Battle Ax BT-46 is best for me

I'm going to look into the BT-46
( I read somewhere/ that if you mount it backwards, it actually last longer (???) NOT sure what mounting it B/Wards does to make it last long'rr (???)

I am on my third Avon trike tire for my TG.
I got 20 and 21K out of the first 2, 21K was pushing it as it was showing cord when I got it replaced

What was the number of the tire they sent you? I believe mine is a 4120310 - Avon Trike Ture - says trike.
Looking at their site - they don't have any more available. Funny how the price goes down when none are availalbe.

130/70R-18: Let us know how you like it. Mine will not go on until I get over 10K on my trike. Headed to Milwaukie mid-July and this should do it.
Current tire still had 4/32 tread - but sine I will reach the 10K mark, I need to have my bike serviced. May as well change the tire since I have another trip in August. This trip will hopefully let me know how the new tire compares.

I will let you know when I have it mounted (I don't own a tire mount'n machine) so I have to pay "the man" to mount it for me..
This 4th of July holiday is putting me behind, and then the on-line company send'n me the wrong tire, didn't help matters at all either..
I'm leave'n for New Hampshire on July 12th, so i'm trying to get everything in order before I leave..

Hey, you are like me - I pay to have mine mounted. Harley dealer told me it is about $105 to do this, including the TPMS that is already there. So, he needs to make sure all is working.
Could probably get it done cheaper somewhere else - however, if something goes wrong - including the TMPS, the dealer can resolve.

Avon 91. this will be my 3rd avon on 2 diff Tri Glides.. Like them
Thanks - your tire is a 16; mine is an 18. This accounts for the difference in price.
When I was looking for my new tire, I talked to my dealer. It was then that we discovered the tire size on the Tri-Glide is different from that on the Ultra.
