Air wings and deflectors

I had all the Bakers on my Gold Wing trike and although I was its driver, occasionally I was passenger and was surprised at the lack of buffeting on the backseat.

I compare the Baker experience to this: Back in 1981 I rode as passenger on a full-dressed Gold Wing Interstate for 1 year… the wind buffeting was HORRIBLE. I had to turn my full-face helmeted head tucked down at an angle trying to keep the wind from popping my head and neck..resulting in a stiff neck. Could not enjoy looking at the scenery. After hearing the driver state “what’s the problem - I don’t feel a thing from wind” I decided it was time for me to be the driver… have never looked back.

Plus.. after adding the lower trike wings it was obvious that there was a lot less bug mess on the rear fenders.
