Riding with the wife and pulling the trailer and all of a sudden I notice ..... no front speakers, only rear. Any idea why? I have no clue where to look.

Hate those mysterious electrical gremlins. First thing to check is that you did not inadvertently move the radio fader to rear.....? Good luck..... Jim
I have radio fader? Wow, where would that be praytell?
Do like i do/did........I Just sit on the Trike turn on the radio and press buttons...After an hour of frustration i figured some of the controls....But then only to forget them again next time i needed to change something..:gah:.

Do you have a 1500 gold wing?
Saw that. Just wanted to be sure. If it’s a 1500 SE Wing the faded control is on the left handlebar:wave4:

Cool! My kind of guy. I'm on the trike tomorrow (in the driveway) with the motor running and I'm fixin' to press buttons, turn dials and cuss occasionally. Wish me luck. I did just have the trike all cleaned up, maybe the detail shop accidently turned something.
I looked at his avatar and wrongly thought he had a GL1800. I now see that he has a GL1500. It's been a lot of years since I've owned a 1500 but I don't remember the fader being like the one in the picture. My old 1500 was a 1997 model and it could be the controls changed from one year to the next. Anyway, we haven't heard from the OP so we may never know..... Jim

YEA!!! I found it. I have never wanted to 'fade' my music as I have installed an in-line volume control for my wife and she usually turns it down or off. That is for our headsets of course. But anyway, it is as you say and show, on the left side control on the outside. Gave it a twist and VOILA I had sound. Thanks everybody for all your help. You guys and gals are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

That’s great. Do you have a owners manual. Lots of info bout radio/cd/intercom.
Yes I do and a service manual and a trike manual. Guess I should spend more time reading and less time on the internet.
The best way to become familiar with all components is setting on trike and using owners manual to get a better idea on what and where everything is and how it works. :wave4:
Yes I know. Sad thing is I've owned this particular trike/trailer for about 6 1/2 years now. I have 'ran' thru the electrical wiring multiple times as it has an abundance of lights and widgets. But just never spent any time on the built-in controls. One of my MANY shortcomings I would say. Thanks,
I can read all 80 or so pages in the Harleys boom box manual....And if i don't frequently use those features ....Its all forgotten, And then its back to the manual..:gah:.
