Handle bar question on 2021 freewheeler

Ive been looking to extend handle bars .. My question is they claim they are 1-1/4 OD My stock are 1 inch and the place where handle grips go look likes they are reduced to 1 inch od. Im really confused on whats going on. Do i have to buy adapter for the bars..

My stock bars are also 1" OD end to end. Maybe the bars your looking at aren't for your Freewheeler?

Bars like WildOne Chubbys are still 1" at the grips and the center clamp area. The other parts you see have an outer shell that beefs them up to 1 1/4". I've had WildOne bars on several bikes and no adapter needed. Can't speak with certainly for other brands but I would think they are the same.
