Trailer

No I don't think anyone here has done that for a Spyder maybe some other trike, principal would be the same. Unless you already have a tow dolly go with a regular trailer. BTW welcome to Triketalk. Post early post often with pictures. What Spyder do you have?

I, too, have thought about that. I came to the conclusion that there would likely be a load balance problem. A tow dolly is designed to carry the weight directly above the wheels. If you were to extend it to accommodate a Spyder (or any 3 wheeler) I think you would probably end up with something that wouldn't tow very well. Just my thoughts..... Jim

Why not simply go to Lowes and buy the 10' x 8' drop ramp trailer ? It only costs a little over a thousand. Has a hard wood floor too.

That would be the smart and easy way to go, And avoiding infringing on a Rube Goldberg patent...... ...;)

Considering that the op has never been heard from again ................... A one post wonder. :clapping:

It’s quite common instead of introducing them selves they ask a question and never be heard from again.... no big deal nothing to get upset about..

Op never responded ........... Oh well, such is life. Nice day to ride in n cen TX btw. :clapping:

 Think a company called stinger makes a folding trailer that sounds similar to what the OP wants. But OP may not respond?

Corrected my Typo

Aside from the fact that the drive wheel would be constantly turning along with the transmission. Not good IMHO. Most likely void the powertrain portion of the warranty ............. :clapping:

Probably just a typo in the post #16.

sTinger Trailers are still on the web and they do make a Spyder trailer.

:clapping: Thank you Carla .............. We men would forever be stumbling about in the dark were it not for the numerous ladies input on this board. One can bet that the driving force behind Zook is his lovely wife Marge ! :)

 Just wait ............. When ya get to Bob's age, it gets way worse. That is unless one is consitter. Then it's retroactive. :clapping:;)
