Does the antenna mast unscrew on a 2016 tri

Corrosion may have it locked in place pretty good. I had to use Vice-Grips on my 07 to get it off. I just knew it was twisting the screw off but it did finally let go. Your 016 shouldn't be that difficult but it's possible. And yes, the Vice-Grips left ugly marks on the antenna but I was replacing it anyway.

Yes, it does screw off. I replaced the whip with a shorter one. Hardly ever use the radio and the shorty is less in the way.
