Heated seat & grips driving me crazy.

Heated grips and seat. 08 Wing.

New grips pretested and work. Seat works on another bike but not mine. Ran all the voltage and Ohm testing per the manual twice. Everything checks out within spec.

New Heater Control module. Relay is also working correctly. All switches checked for Ohm's and voltage - pass.

The pink color wire between Heater control & ECM has continuity and about 9.5 volts when trike is on but drops to zero when running.

Anyone got an answer to my problem. Hoping it's not the ECM

I don't know if this will help of not, but a few years ago my tech, who has worked on my bikes for over 30 years told me he talked with a Honda engineer who told him that the heated seat will not activate unless the outside temperature is 50 or below. I tried to test that and I believe he was correct. You may want to verify that with Honda IF you can ever get a Honda engineer to talk to you and to address that issue. I would say that most techs with dealers or bike shops would not have an answer on that. Hope this helps.

In nearly every case I have had, the problem was one of the seat connections was not properly snapped. The grips won't work unless both seat connections are properly snapped.
