One of my happiest days was when my late friend, Bill, asked me to back his trike out of his garage onto the street for him not too long after he returned home from the hospital. He just rode it around the block that first day but the smile on his face was so promising. He did ride many miles after that.

We won't be there to hear your Freewheeler start up, so be sure to post when you progress to the point you feel up to a short ride so we can share your joy.

Thanks all. I'm doing much better. The VA Hospital moved me into a special primary care clinic with a great group of doctors. They spent 2 hours with me today, going over all my meds, giving me a full exam & answering all my questions & introducing me to the entire staff. It was remarkable. I'm convinced they will help me & more important, so are they.

Hope you're on the right road now Michael, sounds like it will be pretty good.

Well, I'm back from the VA Hospital Thursday & Friday for more tests & they found a bad heart valve & want to replace it. They still need to do another test before this & want to see me next week to discuss everything.

They have a new procedures to replace heart valves that's truly amazing & minimuly invasive.

It's good to know your problem has been found and even better to know they have new procedures.

Jim’s surgeon advised him to go with the pig valve vs. the mechanical valve. Didn’t take much to convince him as a friend of his had a mechanical valve and you could literally here it clunk, clunk, clunk. He had to constantly go in for procedures to clean it out. Jim never had any problem with his pig valve.

Keep us informed. As Fuzzy said... there’s lots of power in prayers.

Thanks all. I have an appointment tomorrow with the cardiologist to map out a plan.

All I know is I have 1 test before they can do the valve replacement.
