I have recently converted from a biker to a full time triker. In the past I rode my Harley Road Glide Ultra when riding solo but rode our trike when Kathy wanted to go. At 70 I've decided it was time to get off of two wheels. I really enjoy our GW CSC trike but am looking for a little more comfort. On my Harley I had a solo seat and plenty of leg room. The wing is different with my knees touching the bike. My question is there a solo seat for the GW's which would let me sit further back giving me more leg room? Suggestions please.

I've never seen a "solo" seat offered for a Goldwing. The closest thing I could suggest is a Ultimate King-Rider. Ultimate offers a Mid-Rider that is close to stock seating position. Their King-Rider gives the driver a little more room. They say it is for riders that are 6' 3" tall and over 260lbs. I'm not near that big of a guy, but I love my King-Rider. Check out all of the options at Ultimate Seats.

My knees were also almost touching the dash buttons and my one knee was bothering me after a couple of hours riding from being bent so far back to reach the stock pegs.

I just got my seat back from Tom Simmons who customized it and did a wonderful job. He moved my position back 1.5 inches as well as moving the back rider back that as well. That ended up putting less strain on my knees as well.

Tom’s website is http://tscustomseats.com/ and he’s on Facebook as well.

Here’s our new seat.

You might try looking at www.bikesolutionsllc.com. He take your stock seat and remakes it.
