Installed new air bags and new tires

After reading on the air bags and talking with 3W-lonerider I ordered new air bags. Took the 235/60/15 tires off and installed 215/65/15 and the new air bags with some mod to the mounting plate on the bottom. Took it for a short ride and this is like a total different ride. It is starting to get where I like it. Maybe a couple weeks and my 6 degree triple tree will arrive. I might have a slow leak. I pumped them up to around 47 lbs and letting them sit. If not I will get a spray bottle and start looking. Shouldn't be hard to find. Just hope its not one of the new air bags. If so oh well will get another and return that one.

If you have the push-loc fittings, where you just push in the air lines, clip the ends that you removed about 1/4”, and re-install them. We use them a lot on big trucks, and lots of times this trick will work. Sometimes they don’t re-seal in the same place once removed.

Found the problem. One of the fitting I installed on top of the air bags was leaking. Thought I had enough Teflon but I guess not. Removed and cleaned it up added new tape and sealed good this time. Got about 35 lbs in it right now and so far in a couple hrs no loss at all. Letting it set all night at that pressure and will adjust tomorrow if I have no drop. Sprayed soapy water on all the fitting and that was the only one bubbling on me.
