I have a Hannigan, and there are 4 lug nuts on the wheels. Can anyone tell me if that can be changed to a 5 lug pattern? Would I have to get that from Hannigan, or do I look for an aftermarket solution?

Thanks in advance!! :)

Just out of curiosity is there an advantage? spiritdream I’m not questioning you I’m just curious.

My husband feels that will give us a wider choice of rims, since he doesn't care for the ones that came on the trike. I guess he needs to know if they can be changed before he's going to go ahead and change the rotors, brakes, etc.

Hannigan only makes IRS. Best person to answer your question would be Hannigan. I know their axles are specifically made for their rear end, since their differential is offset in line with drive shaft.

This may not be the answer you seek but I had a RSV with a Hannigan converstion. I replaced the 4-100 Hannigan wheels with wheels from Motegi wheels. I am currently in the process of replacing my GL1800 Motor Trike wheels with Motegi wheels also.
