Very nice ride! Just watch out for the brown mounds on the road. They aren't reverse potholes...... keep your distance that stuff flies.

Ok Folks, this is the Ride I will Lead for the Gathering. This will Happen 10-5-18 and we will push the Ride to 9am Leave Time from our Camp Ground in Medina, TX (on TX-16, address is Pin #1 on Details Below) just South East of Kerville. It will consist of all 3 twisted sisters, and will be a long day, but very rewarding. any questions feel free to send me a PM here.

From Super 8 by Wyndham Kerrville TX to super 8 kerrville via S Ranch Road 783.
Total without timed stops 2 hr 32 min (142*miles)
1. Head southwest on Fredericksburg Rd/Sidney Baker St toward Alpine Dr
2. Turn right onto Holdsworth Dr
3. Turn right onto Harper Rd
4. Turn right onto Ranch Rd 783/US-290 E
5. Arrive at location: Harper
6. Head east on US-290 E toward FM2093/Ranch Rd 2093
7. Turn left onto N Ranch Rd 783
8. Arrive at location: Doss
9. Continue north on N Ranch Rd 783 toward Ranch Rd 648
10. Turn right onto US-87 S
11. Turn left onto Ranch Rd 152
12. Turn right onto Farm to Market Rd Rd 152/W Haynie St/W Ranch Rd 152
13. Arrive at location: Castell General Store
This is a neat Pit stop- snack, or lunch for those who do not bbq in Llano A Classic-Hot rod car/bike stop for many in this area.
14. Head northwest on Farm to Market Rd Rd 152/W Haynie St/W Ranch Rd 152 toward Myrtle Ln
15. Slight right onto Farm to Market Rd 2768/Ranch Rd 2768
16. Turn right to stay on Farm to Market Rd 2768/Ranch Rd 2768
17. Turn right onto TX-29 E
18. Arrive at location: Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que Llano
Eat, drink, and Gas stop if needed across the street.
Save room for pie at our next stop
19. Head east on W Young St toward Ashley Ave
20. Turn right onto TX-16 S/TX-71 E/Bessemer Ave/N State Hwy 16
21. Turn right onto E Austin St
22. Arrive at location: Fredericksburg Pie Company
23. Head northwest on E Austin St toward N Adams St
24. Turn left onto N Adams St
25. Arrive at location: Super 8 by Wyndham Kerrville TX
So I'm not sure about leading.. but will co-lead the group, my sence of direction and memory isn't the best. :laugh:

Lol...well here's the deal, I manage people for a living.
... every once in a while this guy would like be told where to go or what to do. Then I follow in a slow and leisurely pace... simple huh
And...by someone else other than the wife this time :cxtv:
Besides that...I'd be a nervous wreck knowing you were all behind me thinking, boy this kid drives slow :laugh:

Randall, we don't have ride plans locked in for Saturday yet so we can talk about it at base camp. Whatever everybody wants to do is great. Rain or no rain, I will have a good time getting to spend time with friends and 'family'. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones!
Marge won't be coming this year....She babysits our new grandson Isaac while his mother is in college classes every weekday at Lone Star College.

Thanks Doug. traffic not bad on the State rts. Shorter day tomorrow, only 320, meeting with wives sister & nephew for dinner.
Next time we run 81 to Allentown, maybe we can meet up. Last time we went 80 & met Fearless & his wife for dinner.
