go pro cameras

I found Ram Mounts on the internet and order the handlebar clamp and a 3 inch and 6 inch extension to mount the camera. It is mounted on the left handlebar via the clamp then the 6 inch extension to move it over by the edge of the windshield and the 3 inch to raise it up and out a little bit more. Works great. As for power I use the USB power cord plugged into a 12 volt cigarette lighter adaptor. I'm sure there are probably a few more ways to do it now but back in 2012 when I got my GoPro that was what I found to work on my 2011 and now on my 2016.

you gys that have go pro cameras how did you mount them & power them on a tri glide.

I didn't have a Go-Pro......But my 11 Tri had a 12v socket on the lower left fairing, And my 17 Tri had one on the lower right fairing...

Fuzzy - I was thinking of something like yours - But worried that the pic thru the windshield would be altered - I am assuming that it doesn't or you would have stopped the practice.....but I have a light tint.....think it will be a problem? Thanks - jc
