IF I decide to trailer down there, I know the Four Seasons doesn't have a lot of space available for a pickup & trailer - do you know if I'd be able to park it over at the Ramada? Any other suggestions?

I just want to say that IF you do trailer your trike to TTR-IV, YAYYYYY--you will be riding with us! :woohoo:

Cheri, I know we could work something out for your trailer rig. Don't let that question stop you from trailering down :)

Why don't you give the good folks at the Ramada a call and ask them??

Judy...???? Lost me there! (Not difficult, by the way! ;))

Nana....Wouldn't stop me from being there, just may change my mode of transportation.

Oldmsocko....Yes, had a "duh" moment and realized that as soon as I'd hit the Enter key! LOL "I'm not a blonde, but I play one...sometimes" :D

HURRY UP, JUNE!!!! :Excited:

Just saying that instead of waving good-bye each day from the front porch, and hooking up again for supper, you could actually go on the rides with us!

When is this rally???????????????????

I just answered my own question.
I looked up and found the rally info.
Hopefully, we just might run into you.

We are having a rally there the week of June 20.
Will be staying at the Best Western.
The group is called "Friends on Wheels.

No, we attended many years ago. Kind of got tired of them.
We have been to Knoxville for the Honda Hoots, but that rally has stopped too.
The main one we go to is "The Davis Rally" in New Hampton, Iowa, always the weekend after Labor Day.

Honestly I did think about the museum, but I don't want to impose - Dale's doing a lot for us already!

I took a look again at the parking lot (found a satellite image). IF I have to trailer, and IF nobody else is, there should be space - if I remember, Randy trailered last year and was able to park fine.

Of course, there's always a chance I'll "throw caution to the wind" and just ride down there! Just so many options!! LOL

Still considering it, but cost & comfort are serious considerations. Riding means extra motel costs, down and back. My "budget" has recently been severely chopped (and believe me, I'm TICKED about it!!!!). :(

After that I have to consider that I only have an 800cc, and there are some pretty good "hills" between here & there. As a bike it probably wouldn't have much of a problem, but add in the weight of a trike kit and I'm not sure if it can handle it.

Add in the fact that I'd be doing this alone.... Now, I'm used to riding alone, but 6 days worth? (3 down, 3 back) Just not sure if I'm ready for that (no radio, no mp3 - just me and my own thoughts....could get scary!! LOL).

Hubby has told me his "cost" to trailer for me - not sure yet if he's serious or not, and what the devil do I do with him once we get there?? He doesn't ride, not much of a "social" person, etc. I'd feel bad leaving him in the motel for 4 days (note I said I'd feel bad - doesn't mean it would stop me! ;)).

Still weighing my options, but I will be there, one way or another! Even if I have to cage it like last year and let someone chauffer me!

And it can't get here soon enough for me!!

You are welcome to join myself and as of now only TRIKERMARY to join up along the way on I-81 SOUTH, hoping for others to JOIN IN AS WE GO? Details are all dependant,,,,meaning (playin it by ear) No stress, just ridin:pepper: damn I love that PEPPER,,,,:Monster:

Hey Cheri,

Don't underestimate that cute little Suzuki, I had mine (exactly like yours) 800cc for 6 years and rode it to Sturgis and back, then to New Mexico and back, just to name a few trips, I traveled with all big Harleys and had no problem keeping up, that little trike can go..........don't worry about that...........you would be more than welcome to meet up with me in Maryland and then on to I-81 to meet Trikerbob, that is a couple of hours from me and I will be riding that distance alone.......just something for you to keep in mind..........

I'm trailering, hopefully not a problem. First time I've ever trailered, driving my son's gas guzzling Titan PU and pulling a borrowed 6x12 enclosed trailer. The Warden can't ride that far, last year three couples went to Branson the ladies were all in a car and the guys rode, this time 2 couples but the other couple is riding, so have to trailer, probably cost me 500 in gas alone.

When I dropped off mine at CSC on my 6x12 for some warranty work it cut my milage in half, so figure its gonna cost a fair amount compared to 38 mpg on the trike, but if its the only way then its gotta be,,,just an FYI on the 6x12 pulling
